Family Dollar Services LLC is seeking a team member for 3rd shift in Ashley, IN to unload and receive inbound merchandise, verify paperwork, and build pallets for storage. You will operate PIT equipment, follow safety procedures, and maintain an organized receiving area. The role requires counting skills, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Pay starts at $18 per hour with a $2 shift differential; schedule is 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Counting skills are essential.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work OT, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Verifies purchase orders and matching documentation.
• Meets daily/weekly/monthly productivity standards.
• Constructs pallets according to documented dimensions.
• Sets up pallet dimensions and notifies inventory if slots are missing.
• Directs lumper crew to build pallets safely and efficiently.
• Applies decals and secures pallets with shrink-wrap.
• Processes paperwork, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation.
• Seeks approvals for paperwork changes.
• Notifies management of issues delaying processing.
• Completes daily PIT checklist and reports defects.
• Operates PIT equipment safely.
• Follows safety procedures to protect self and others.
• Maintains organized Receiving area and safe workspace.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
