Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for a full-time, second-shift role in Rincon, GA. You will verify inventory counts, manage rotations, and support receiving and data validation in our warehouse management system.

The position requires English proficiency, ability to learn WMS and internal applications, and strong attention to detail. Benefits include PTO, health coverage, 401(k), and discounts.

Qualifications

• Follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Read, write, understand and speak English.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
• Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applications.
• Must use handheld computers / scanners.
• Operate various material handling equipment; occasionally moving product in warehouse.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Maintain excellent and professional communication with the Inventory team, Operations, and Customer on all related details and tasks.
• Work the required schedule, location, complete Penske employment application, background and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system count matches physical inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper rotation of product; analyze rotation issues and document root cause.
• Accurately receive inventory with checkers; audit inbound receipts.
• Data setup and validation in WMS and other applications.
• Manage unsalable inventory; document recalls and disposition.
• Ensure signage is accurately located in the distribution center.
• Process analysis and document inventory procedures with inventory management.
• Assist with daily and weekly reports.
• Assist in development and implementation of processes.
