Job summary

Ruan is hiring a full-time Inventory Control Specialist for our Madison, MS distribution facility. The role is on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with full benefits and a 401(k) plan.

You will maintain records, perform cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory levels. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma/GED, 1–2 years of forklift and inventory experience, familiarity with WMS, and proficient MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1-2 years forklift and inventory management experience.
• Familiarity with a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Compile and keep records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Conduct counts of inventory and post totals.
• Verify record computations against physical count of inventory.
• Investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
