Job summary

Allen Distribution is seeking an Inventory Control Technician for the 1st shift, 7am to 5:30pm, Tue–Fri. You will maintain inventory levels, monitor product movement, and support production planning in a fast-paced Operations environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of inventory control experience, proficiency with WMS and Microsoft Office, and keen attention to accuracy. Pay is up to $24 per hour with overtime possibilities and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in Inventory Control.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, accurate data entry skills, WMS, document scanning, copying and basic office skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to understand the production schedule.
• Interface directly with customers on inventory adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product and packaging material inventory use.
• Do inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
• Coordinate, problem solve, and communicate inventory issues to customers, vendors, and Production Planner.
• Coordinate the product recoup operation.
• Backfill on production lines as needed.
