Inventory Control Specialist 1 (Assembly)

Schedule and Compensation

Monday - Thursday, 4:45 AM to 3:15 PM

$19.50/Hour

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain inventory accuracy within Assembly, ensuring demand signals are correctly passed to planning and purchasing.
  2. Collaborate with engineering teams on component changeovers related to NPI and EOL projects.
  3. Escalate issues proactively to relevant teams or leadership.
  4. Mitigate quality risks by ensuring the right parts are available when needed.
  5. Conduct cycle counts and perform routine material transactions.
  6. Assist with Kanban system maintenance and adjustments.
  7. Support material handling tasks, including receiving, transferring, and supporting inventory processes.
  8. Assist with quality defect isolation and other assigned duties.
Required Skills and Experience
  • At least three years of material handling or related experience.
  • Knowledge of materials handling systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in math, including handling alphanumeric sequences.
  • Experience with FIFO auditing and material handling equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and support team leadership.
  • Proficiency with relevant software and basic Excel skills.
  • Commitment to attendance and punctuality.
Physical Demands

Work environment includes noise and chemicals; ability to use PPE, stand or sit for long periods, and lift/move up to 25 pounds with assistance.
