What You Will Be Doing

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting the efficient operation of our asset management lifecycle. You will work closely with our procurement and technical teams to ensure that all inventory processes are streamlined and effective. Some key activities in this role will include:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using our inventory management system
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of stock
• Track and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory
• Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices
• Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management strategies

Experience & skills that will enable your success

• Experience: Proven experience with inventory control, preferably in an IT or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in inventory management software and the Microsoft Office 365 suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if professional experience in inventory control is substantial
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
• Passion for Detail: A genuine passion for meticulous attention to detail and maintaining a high level of accuracy in all tasks
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
• Adaptability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating excellent organizational and time management abilities. Adaptable to changing priorities and able to thrive in a dynamic work environment
