Responsibilities

What is an Inventory Control Specialist?

An Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing Envoy’s aircraft inventory, handling incoming and outgoing stock, loading and unloading items, receiving inventory from purchase and repair orders, inspecting for damage, moving inventory to storage, preparing shipments, issuing inventory for aircraft maintenance, conducting inventory counts, and distributing inventory to other stations as needed. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, handling hazardous materials properly, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts.

Skills required include both mental and physical qualities necessary for warehouse work, such as operating equipment and packing materials.

How will you make an impact?

  • Manage the full lifecycle of inventory, including requisitioning, receiving, storing, disbursing, transferring, shipping, and delivering items.
  • Ensure inventory control, resolve discrepancies, and inspect inventory according to company standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory within specified parameters and condition, request repairs, and requisition supplies as needed.
  • Perform physical inventory counts, inspect items for defects, and sort items based on condition.
  • Handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, loading/unloading, and storing items according to safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Maintain equipment, report repairs, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Provide inventory data to authorized personnel and follow company procedures and instructions from supervisors.
Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • Minimum age 18
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or passport (some restrictions apply)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Preferred: 12 months experience in warehouse or similar supply functions involving receiving, shipping, and binning materials
