Wastequip is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and support daily Parts department operations. The role coordinates inventory activity, backs up purchasing, and ensures material availability while communicating order status across departments.
The position emphasizes inventory integrity, timely updates, and proactive collaboration with Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the daily operations of the Parts department. This position coordinates inventory activities, monitors backordered parts, processes inventory transactions, assists with purchasing, and serves as a key liaison between vendors, production, and customer service. The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring material availability, inventory integrity, and timely communication regarding parts and order status. Pay Rate: $26.00
High school diploma or GED required. 2–5 years of inventory control, purchasing, warehouse administration, or parts coordination experience. Manufacturing or heavy equipment industry experience preferred. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout a manufacturing and warehouse environment for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry materials and inventory items weighing up to 50 pounds, as required. Ability to operate computers, scanners, and other inventory equipment. Must be able to safely navigate production and warehouse areas and wear required PPE. May be exposed to noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and other typical manufacturing conditions.
