Description
- Inventory Control Functions
- Researches and reconciles inventory variances throughout the year, with an emphasis during Spring and Year End Inventory
- Assists with addressing and facilitating vendor recalls
- Performs physical stock checks in the Distribution Center warehouse
- Conducts full physical inventory counts and posts results
- Summarizes and files inventory research results
- Ensures that necessary stock checks are performed, by either performing them on his or her own, or by assigning others to complete them when appropriate
- Performs data entry relating to physical counts during Spring and Year End Inventory, special projects, and as directed
- Posts scheduled cycle counts
- Addresses damages and codes them appropriately
- Administrative Support
- Maintains and organizes department files, folders, and paperwork
- Provides administrative support to the department, including, but not limited to:
- Assisting with open transactions that impact postings
- Ensuring product lines are on / off depending on count schedule
- Following up as necessary to ensure inventory is clean and accurate
- Validating received quantities on POs and transfers
- Answers telephone and greets internal customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Position Knowledge and Training
- Maintains thorough and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of SxE functionality for day-to-day functions of the Distribution Center
- Attends all mandated company training programs as directed
- Attends safety meetings and training programs as directed
- Attends training to addresses communications such as email, documentation, and telephone etiquette, on a yearly basis
- Travel and Time
- This position requires travel to outside locations/branches for about 15% of the time.

This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, and possibly weekends, based on business needs (especially during the summer and during the YE Inventory period)

Rate Range: $20 to $25/hour
