Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations in Mocksville, NC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support accurate material and parts availability. You will perform cycle counts, verify inventory records, and assist with production scheduling to keep the plan on track.

The role requires reading and following work instructions, data entry, and safe forklift operation. You will collaborate with purchasing and master scheduling, participate in month-end counts, and help maintain compliance with company safety and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand work instructions, production standards and Company communications.
• Ability to work overtime when needed to meet business needs.
• Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
• Ability to measure, read, and interpret a tape measure.
• Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a forklift operator’s license.

Responsibilities

• Be courteous and maintain a good working relationship with supervisors, team leaders, and co-workers.
• Be self-directed to perform job duties as required.
• Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow production safety and quality standards.
• Verify inventory accuracy printed versus actual.
• Utilize and monitor inventory systems to meet accuracy requirements.
• Stays current on inventory status of materials and parts needed to complete production schedule.
• Support month end physical inventory and print inventory reports.
• Cross functional and multitask within inventory and purchasing area as backup to other functions.
