Job Overview

Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Melrose Park, IL

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Scan and track freight using RF scanning equipment
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts
• Audit inventory for accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Enter inventory and freight information into customer databases
• Verify inventory levels and reconcile count differences
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move and organize materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Support warehouse operations by ensuring inventory accuracy and organization

Qualifications

• Previous inventory control or inventory management experience required
• Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse environment
• Sit-down forklift experience required
• Strong math and counting skills
• Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately enter data into customer systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and maintain inventory records
• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory audits preferred
