Now hiring: Stand Up Forklift Operator

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Day Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

As a Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Arlington Heights, you’ll move freight, stack pallets, and keep the warehouse running smoothly. You know how to handle tight aisles, tall racks, and long shifts. This is steady work for people who show up, get it done, and do it right.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• Previous experience operating a stand‑up forklift, order picker, or reach truck
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable working at heights and navigating warehouse racking systems
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and equipment operation procedures

What You’ll Do (Job Duties)

• Operate a stand‑up forklift to pick and retrieve orders from warehouse racks
• Use RF scanners to accurately locate, verify, and process inventory
• Pull, load, move, and refile boxes according to customer requests and warehouse procedures
• Barcode and process incoming boxes, archived files, and materials scheduled for destruction
• Perform bay consolidations and maintain organized storage locations
• Safely move boxes by hand when required
• Complete warehouse pickups, deliveries, and general inventory handling tasks
• Conduct pre‑shift equipment inspections
