Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records and support the Inventory Control Manager. The role involves daily data entry, reconciliation of records, and coordinating annual physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year in a similar role, and strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying conditions is required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year experience in similar position.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and updates inventory records.
  • Creates efficient and accurate inventory management procedures.
  • Performs daily activities to maintain effective inventory management procedures.
  • Reconciles inventories to book records and makes adjustments when necessary.
  • Coordinates the annual physical inventory procedures.
  • Recommends programs to improve inventory management.
  • Plans and implements a recoup program for damaged/defective products.
  • Maintains records to track recouped products and return saleable stock.
  • Supervises inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs with regular reporting.
  • Conducts searches to locate products within the system.
