Location: Madison, WI – East Side Campus

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll play a key role in warehouse operations, handling perpetual inventory management, cycle counting, product dating, recall checks, and customer returns. You’ll also utilize state-of-the-art Cubiscan technology to process new product entries, helping maintain efficiency and accuracy across our distribution network.

Requirements
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7am - 330pm
Position Summary
Provides support for the warehouse by perpetual inventory through cycle counting, dating, recall checks, processing customer returns, cubiscanning new product, and other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.
Essential Job Functions
• Count Pick Slots
• Account for product and dates on product, daily
• Identify Recalls and inform appropriate personnel
• Responds to Buyer’s inquiries about product
• Handle any returned items
• Cubiscanning
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of warehouse Inventory Control duties
• Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word and Excel
• Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, fax and copy machine
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
Education and Experience
• High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills
• Inventory Control experience a plus
