Job summary

Merrimack Health is seeking a hands-on Inventory and Distribution Associate to manage stock levels and input data for hospital supplies and equipment throughout the facility.

Duties include stocking carts, sorting and filling requisitions, assisting shipping and receiving, responding to supply requests, and auditing usage. The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, strong customer service orientation, and can lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four to six months minimum hospital or related experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Control inventory and input data for hospital supplies and equipment across the facility.
  • Stock inventory carts and sort/fill requisitions.
  • Assist shipping and receiving when needed and respond to supply requests.
  • Prepare audits of supply usage and verify daily charges against reports.

Job description

This position is responsible for control of inventory, data input, and distribution of supplies and equipment throughout the hospital. Duties include stocking inventory carts, sorting and filling requisitions, assisting shipping and receiving when needed, responding to supply requests, preparing audits of supply usage, and verifying daily charges against computer reports. Ideal candidate will possess a can-do attitude with a strong customer service orientation. 4-6 months' prior hospital or related experience preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift and transport items of up to 100 lbs. This is a physically demanding job requiring constant mobility throughout the entire hospital. High school diploma or equivalent required.
