University Health is seeking an inventory coordinator to proactively manage all aspects of inventory control on the assigned unit(s). You will work with Materials Management, Clinical and Nursing staff to optimize cost savings, ensure proper stock levels, and prevent overstocking.
Responsibilities include cleaning supply bins and workspaces, maintaining accuracy of PAR levels and data, and upholding service excellence in daily operations.
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibility will be to proactively manage all aspects of the inventory management and control function independently, effectively, accurately and in a timely manner on the assigned unit(s). Interacts favorably with all Materials Management, Clinical and Nursing personnel to achieve optimum cost savings, inventory flow, control and prevention of overstocking and excessive informal inventories. We will be responsible for cleaning supply bins, workstations, and keeping work areas free from dust and debris. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED is required. Familiarity with automated inventory systems is preferred. The ability to speak, read, write, and understand oral and written instructions, numbers, PAR levels and statistical data is essential.
