Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift and a pallet jack.
• Read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak with associates.
• Perform basic arithmetic and algebraic concepts.
• Stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders and prepare related shipping documents accurately.
• Prepare skids or pallets for shipping and wrap completed shipments.
• Unload raw materials from trucks and inspect incoming goods.
• Route items to departments; scan and tag items in the system.
• Operate forklift or hand truck to move shipments; verify against invoices.
• Schedule freight pickups and complete manifest paperwork.
• Maintain inventory and assist with equipment maintenance and safety policies.
