Hitachi Energy is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will help ensure materials are available to meet production demands and collaborate across production and supply chain teams to improve material flow and reduce discrepancies.

You will analyze inventory data, maintain records, and own inventory activities in assigned areas while upholding safety and lean principles to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant logistics experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations, logistics, warehousing, shipping, or inventory management.
  • Experience implementing or supporting lean material flow initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio; experience with SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.

  • Conduct daily inventory analysis to identify risks, shortages, and improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to communicate material availability and resolve issues.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory health and ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed. Your Background

  • Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
