Warehouse Specialist – Inventory Control

About the Role

As a Team Supervisor – Inventory Control at JD Logistics, you will play a critical role in supporting our B2B warehouse operations, ensuring precise inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, and promoting efficient inventory management. You will lead a team in performing cycle counts, analyzing variances, and collaborating with inbound and outbound teams to maintain stock accuracy.

This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in high-volume environments and are fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) speaking and writing, enabling effective communication with cross-border teams and Chinese-speaking partners.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily inventory control tasks, ensuring real-time accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Lead and perform cycle counts, internal audits, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Implement and optimize inventory tracking processes to reduce errors and improve operational performance.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to inventory control team members.
  • Work closely with inbound and outbound departments to ensure smooth stock flow and accurate documentation.
  • Analyze root causes of inventory inaccuracies and propose sustainable corrective actions.
  • Ensure team compliance with all warehouse safety and operational procedures.
  • Facilitate communication and documentation in both English and Chinese when required for international coordination.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control role, preferably in B2B logistics or supply chain.
  • Proficient in WMS and inventory systems; strong data and process accuracy skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience training and supervising staff.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Chinese language proficiency (spoken and written) preferred to support bilingual team communication and vendor coordination.
