The position involves monitoring inventory levels, managing a team of cycle counters, and collaborating with purchasing and finance to align on inventory strategy. A high school diploma is required, with a first shift from 7 AM to 4 PM.

  • Work extensively within the MRP system to enforce transactional compliance, optimize material movement, and apply Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Analyze historical data to optimize reorder points and report key metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure all inventory handling meets safety and regulatory standards.

A market leader in home comfort products for over 100 years, is looking to add a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to our light manufacturing facility in Ft. Worth, TX. The Inventory Control Specialist will help maintain efficient inventory management practices.The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, and implementing process improvements. This role is vital in maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing carrying costs, and supporting the company’s overall production and distribution objectives.

salary: $60,000 - $68,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management & Auditing: Monitor raw materials, finished goods, and imported inventory; conduct cycle counts, reconciliations, and plant material audits.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and manage a team of 5 cycle counters.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with corporate purchasing, finance, and site purchasing managers to align on inventory strategy.
  • Process Improvement & Systems: Work extensively within the MRP system to enforce transactional compliance, optimize material movement, and apply Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Analyze historical data to optimize reorder points and report key metrics to senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all inventory handling meets safety and regulatory standards.
