Job summary

PPG is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Clerk for an on-site role in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will report to the Production Manager and ensure accurate inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and verify transactions to support operational efficiency.

The position requires at least two years of inventory experience, preferred manufacturing exposure, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of inventory experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Complete cycle counts and help locate missing inventory.
• Transact cycle counts electronically for other departments.
• Review transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Return inventory to stock and complete inventory moves electronically.
• Report data to management for KPI's.
• Coordinate logistics related to stock transfers.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock.
• Create and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
