Inventory Specialist – Aerospace

Pay: $31-34/hr

Contract to hire

Shift: day & swing

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist with aerospace or manufacturing experience to support daily inventory operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a hands-on approach to inventory accuracy and control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Create and maintain spreadsheets to track inventory movement and count results
• Record part numbers, serial numbers, and physical locations
• Label inventory and storage locations appropriately
• Validate inventory counts and perform inventory adjustments as needed
• Execute inventory issuing and relocation tasks
• Support relocation of inventory between work centers
• Provide general inventory services as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with supply chain processes, including S&OP and physical flow management
• Proven ability to identify and lead operational improvements
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Effective communicator, capable of working across departments and levels
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience using Costpoint ERP system
• Forklift certification or experience
• Background in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments
