POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure optimal profitability and inventory turns related to pet supplies in support of our overall mission of matching the right pet with the right customer and meeting the needs of both.
• Maintains proper inventory valuations throughout the store.
• Keeps all merchandise neat, clean, priced and fronted.
• Effectively signs and displays kits, ends caps, stack-outs, valences and specials.
• Evaluates and seeks timely vendor credits, coupons and rebates.
• Maintains accurate records for invoices, vendors and catalogs.
• Keeps stock room neat and organized.
• Implements Petland in-store marketing campaigns.
• Uses common mathematical principles during the course of daily tasks and responsibilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
