Job Description

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will support manufacturing and customer returns by performing various inventory tasks. Candidates should be self-motivated, communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with procurement for inventory purchases; communicate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Engineering teams
  • Perform cycle counts according to schedule
  • Research inventory adjustments prior to transactions
  • Manage scrap processes, including red tags and disposition
  • Maintain RGA logs and handle goods disposition
  • Guide material handling team and train new members
Operations Support
  • Assist with BOM redlines and component substitutions requiring TDA's
  • Communicate part ID changes to relevant staff
  • Maintain inventory organization and comply with safety regulations
Physical Requirements
  • Close and color vision
  • Manual handling and fine manipulations
  • Sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 75 lbs
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-2 years in inventory or manufacturing operations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Availability for overtime as needed
