Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a detail-oriented team member to manage departmental inventory counts, process damaged/defective merchandise, and obtain vendor return authorizations. You will re-wrap sellable items and maintain accurate inventory status while working cross-functionally to uphold club policies and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to GOLD standards, with a focus on fast, friendly service and meticulous store presentation.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Basic math skills required.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Execute departmental inventory counts, processing, and sorting damaged or defective merchandise.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and re-wrap sellable merchandise.
• Maintain stock/inventory status for damaged, defective, and returned items.
• Follow safety and process guidelines; ensure attendance is reliable.
