Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Breaux Bridge, LA to monitor and maintain inventory levels within our Inventory Management System. You will greet customers with a service-focused attitude and ensure accurate product balances are kept up to date.

The role requires basic math, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to learn new systems. Candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to learn new inventory systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily stock counts to ensure accuracy in the Inventory Management System.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving.
• Review and complete all pending inventory transactions daily.
• Communicate inventory levels with store leadership and address shortages or shelf issues.
• Ensure products are replenished on shelves and store areas remain safe and clean.
• Assist with other duties including periodic inventory counts.
