Job summary

ProMach in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Stockroom Attendant to support inventory control, packing and shipping of parts, and receiving incoming materials. This role reports to the Materials Manager and involves accurate bin management and collaboration with Sales and Purchasing.

You'll perform cycle counts, prepare shipments with carriers like FedEx and UPS, and ensure packing slips match orders. The position requires a High School diploma and at least 6 months in inventory control, with reliable

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 6+ months experience in inventory control and shipping.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and other departments.
• Ability to handle detailed work accurately.
• Lift 50 pounds or more.
• Knowledge of FedEx, UPS and international shipping procedures.
• Ability to multitask reliably.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory bin maintenance and cycle counting.
• Place received materials in correct locations.
• Interface with Sales and Purchasing regarding incoming parts.
• Maintain inventory bins and adjust locations as needed.
• Process shipments and prepare records of shipment and bills of lading.
• Address inquiries and resolve problems as a technical resource.
• Prepare parts for customer orders and ship via specified carriers.
• Verify packing slips against orders and count items for accuracy.
