Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory flow and accuracy, ensuring shelves are stocked and the sales floor reflects current merchandise. You will drive adherence to store policies, train staff on processes, and maintain a clean, organized stockroom while meeting productivity targets.

The role emphasizes accurate inbound/outbound inventory, proper tagging, and collaboration with teams to support sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify deliveries are compliant and accurate to standards.
• Prepare merchandise for selling floor and comply with ticketing/signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving to floor per Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Input freight information timely through appropriate systems.
• Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per policy.
• Educate and coach sales team on processes affecting customer experience.
