Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking an inventory control associate at our Memphis distribution center. The role focuses on reconciling stock, verifying locations, and supporting cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient distribution.

You will handle inquiries from internal teams and external partners, update the inventory system, and assist with audits while upholding Kroger's values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Expertise with multiple computer systems, ease with new technology.
• Understanding of product flow from entry to departure.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries from management, supervision, buyers, stores, vendors and trucking companies on inventory within site.
• Moves new product items into inventory system.
• Reconciles product shown in various systems with actual product at site.
• Researches accounting questions on purchase orders, invoices and billings of product received.
• Prepares handbill for stores when product returned to distribution center.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
