Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking an Inventory Clerk for Tempe, AZ. You will manage inventory control, assist with shipping and receiving, and support various warehouse operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

You will pull products, process returns, perform quality audits, and help maintain inventory accuracy with regular cycle counts. A high school diploma or GED is required, with attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six months’ related experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to learn and operate equipment.
• Able to work accurately with numbers and use a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Process inventory release for orders after manifesting in Log Pro.
• Record inbound shipments (truckloads, LTLs, containers, UPS).
• Process returns including check-in and rework.
• Perform Quality Control Audits and communicate findings.
• Maintain inventory reports and cycle counts; conduct random audits.
• Coordinate shipping; contact carriers; assist with loading trucks.
• Handle will call orders and assist annual physical inventory.
• Pull correct product and pack into boxes; apply labels and manifests.
• Transfer completed orders and verify accuracy; monitor inventory levels.
• Replenish stock and keep shelves stocked; follow SOPs and safety rules.
