Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years in comprehensive supply chain management.
  • 2+ years managing inventory within distribution logistics, preferably in a 24×7×365 environment.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, warehouse management systems, and database systems.
  • Proven multitasking ability and priority management.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Preferred: 3+ years’ leadership experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with BlueYonder, Oracle, and IMI systems.
  • Preferred: Food distribution experience.

Your Opportunity as an ICQA Supervisor

The Inventory Control Quality Assurance Supervisor will play a vital role in overseeing the management and accuracy of our inventory. Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, ensuring proper storage practices, developing and implementing inventory control procedures and quality assurance protocols, conducting regular audits, monitoring shelf‑life requirements, supervising a team dedicated to inventory control and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with product specifications, industry guidelines such as GMPs, and regulatory demands, proactively identifying and addressing quality issues, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate inventory data and prompt product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all inventory and quality functions.
  • Manage inventory control team members – conduct onboarding, training, performance feedback, and coaching.
  • Perform inventory audits.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards to meet evolving industry requirements.
  • Achieve inventory accuracy goal attainment.
  • Accountability for warehouse inventory and quality reports.
  • Build effective working relationships with cross‑functional team members and related staff groups.
  • Resolve problems and conflicts directly with supervisors and peers.
  • Consult with managers, supervisors, and peers to provide solutions impacting safety, quality, cost, delivery, and service.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal and external parties on inventory and quality matters.
  • Drive process improvement and optimization.
  • Maximize performance of the warehouse management system.
  • Identify opportunities for employee growth.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safe work practices.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork to meet goals and objectives.
  • Commit to process excellence by ensuring efficient and accurate processes.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, team members, and other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in comprehensive supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing inventory within distribution logistics, preferably in a 24×7×365 environment.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, warehouse management systems, and database systems.
  • Proven multitasking ability and priority management.
  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Preferred: 3+ years’ leadership experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in BlueYonder, Oracle, and IMI systems.
  • Preferred: Food distribution experience.
Location

30800 W. 207th Street, Edgerton, KS 66021 (Hostess Distribution Center)

Work Arrangements

100% on‑site. Split shift: approximately 12pm‑10pm Tuesday‑Friday. Flexibility required. Willingness to work off shift (including nights, weekends, and/or holidays) and flow to the work as needed.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk and hear, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with arms; occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Able to lift objects up to 50pounds frequently; may push and pull heavy objects. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
