Job summary

Target seeks an Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Team Member to support inventory accuracy in warehouse locations. You will audit defects, resolve issues, and document root causes while working with the ICQA Leader to improve processes.

You'll perform weekly audits, use lean/Six Sigma methods, and help prevent cancellations by correcting inventory records, while maintaining safety and professionalism on the job floor.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior work experience in a warehouse/operations role.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to lift 35–45 lbs repeatedly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and comprehend department documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Computer systems proficiency after training.
• Ability to research defects and root cause drivers.
• Familiar with web-based ICQA reporting (Smartsheet).
• Ability to perform basic data entry and analysis in Excel or similar.
• Willingness to be trained on powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Audit defects and resolve inventory issues within SLA.
• Collaborate with ICQA Leader and operations to improve inventory accuracy.
• Conduct weekly audits and document findings with root cause analysis.
• Use lean, Six Sigma tools and 5S to drive cleanliness and defect documentation.
• Help prevent downstream order cancellations by correcting inventory records.
• Balance multiple priorities while delivering proactive service.
