Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an organized Inventory Control Specialist to support warehouse operations, material flow, and inventory accuracy. You will handle receiving, shipping, transfers, reconciliations, and inventory records while working closely with technicians, project coordinators, office staff, and the centralized dispatcher.

In this role you will ensure accuracy of receipts, issues, and transfers, keep ACE logs current, and help resolve variances.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-5 years of purchasing or inventory experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to pass drug and background checks and lift up to 70 lb.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase orders for service and process incoming material accurately.
• Ship and receive material daily and maintain logs.
• Execute receipts, issues, and transfers of materials.
• Reconcile material from job cost and customer returns.
• Coordinate RMA requests and credit returns for excess, warranty, or repair material.
• Maintain inventory integrity and support the material coordinator.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances and documentation issues.
