Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is seeking an inventory associate to accurately provide inventory information for company controlled material stock. You will monitor, organize, and maintain inventory across multiple branch locations on the warehouse floor and work with heavy machinery.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, moving material between stock, data entry in the inventory system, tagging inventory, identifying shortages, and supporting health, safety, and lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math.
• Basic computer/data-entry skills for inventory system.
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure/calipers).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in written work and data entry.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 40 lbs and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory information for company stock across branch locations.
• Monitor, organize and maintain inventory on warehouse floor.
• Receive shipments and move material between stock and processing.
• Enter data into inventory management system accurately and timely.
• Identify shortages and communicate with staff; support QA and lean initiatives.
