Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials Services is seeking an Inventory/Material Handler to accurately provide stock information and maintain inventory across branch locations. The role involves data entry, using inventory management systems, and ensuring precise material movements.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, coordinating material flow, operating handling equipment, and supporting health, safety, and Lean initiatives on the warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math.
• Basic computer/data entry skills for inventory management system.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment after certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform material receiving activities between locations or from mill.
• Coordinate movement of material from stock to processing to support production.
• Operate material handling equipment to move material.
• Enter data accurately in the inventory system for material movements.
