Job summary

NXTPoint Logistics in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations, inventory control and contractor check-in activities within a non-climate controlled warehouse. You will help with route documentation, delivery compliance and load-out support to ensure accurate and timely service.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in warehouse or inventory roles, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in warehouse or inventory control.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English for directions and paperwork.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support daily check-in and check-out activities for Independent Contractors and review route documentation, delivery tickets, inventory logs, and related paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit delivery documentation to ensure required signatures, service codes, completion details, delivery exceptions, and other operational requirements are properly recorded.
• Assist with daily load-out and route support activities to help ensure timely and accurate delivery execution.
• Verify inventory transactions, including haul-away appliances, returns, and other product movements, to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Process, tag, organize, and store returned merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to delivery documentation, returns, inventory counts, and contractor paperwork.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control processes as directed by warehouse leadership.
• Support warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety initiatives to maintain an efficient work environment.
• Follow and support established security procedures to safeguard company assets and inventory.
• Partner with warehouse leadership and Independent Contractors to support daily operational priorities and customer service objectives.
• Assist with general warehouse and administrative activities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
