Job summary

HLBMA LLC in Georgia is seeking an Inventory Control Operator to manage the flow of materials, track inventory, and support daily production operations.

You will monitor stock levels, receive and verify shipments, maintain records in ERP and Excel, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery while upholding 5S standards. This full-time, on-site position requires reliability and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with inventory software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with barcoding and ERP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to support continuous production.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize, label, and store inventory materials according to safety and efficiency standards.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate manual and electronic inventory records using inventory management software.
• Create, process, and track purchase orders in accordance with company procurement procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Build and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and procedures.
• Forecast inventory demand based on production needs.
• Advise teams on efficient and cost-effective purchasing and inventory practices.
• Use software and digital tools (e.g., ERP, Excel, barcode systems) to update inventory records.
• Ensure accurate sign-out and return procedures for tools and materials across shifts.
• Communicate proactively with Production and Maintenance teams regarding stock needs and material flow.
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards.
• Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
