Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Manager in Olive Branch, MS, to manage cycle counts, investigations, audits, and reconciliation. The role supports the data center manufacturing of servers, storage, and networking solutions, part of a fast-moving, high-throughput environment.

Responsibilities include performing cycle counts, approving adjustments, auditing readiness, and coordinating with Purchasing and Accounts Payable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2-5 years of experience.
• In-depth product/manufacturing comprehension and rationales.
• Advanced working knowledge of manufacturing systems.
• Experience in HIGH product THROUGHPUT environments; semiconductor or circuit board manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cycle counts are performed on schedule and assist as needed.
• Conduct error investigations and reconciliation.
• Approve inventory adjustments within prescribed dollar limit and advise management on excessive adjustments.
• Prepare products for internal/external audits.
• Investigate and resolve warehouse incidents/shipping errors.
• Ensure correct completion of customer refusals and RMAs where applicable.
• Provide coaching and training as needed and maintain records.
• Assist Purchasing and Accounts Payable when requested.
• Ensure replenishment of high velocity product to correct bin locations.
• Oversee warehouse operations in manager’s absence and develop schedules/manpower.

• Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management.
• Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas, other divisions or customers and the company.
• Assists the Manufacturing Manager in coordinating the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and staffing.

Qualifications:

Typically requires bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 -5 years of experience.

• In-depth product manufacturing comprehension including rationales.
• Advanced working knowledge of manufacturing systems.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing costs and influences.
• Manages through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and staffing.
• Typically manages 2 or more direct reports.
• Has experience with HIGH product THROUGPUT environment.
• Experience in Semiconductor or Circuit board manufacturing a plus.
