Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking an Inventory Control Manager in Manchester, CT to lead inventory control across showrooms and distribution centers. This role reports to the Inventory Control leadership and focuses on cycle-counting, accuracy, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in retail inventory control, strong analytical skills, and a customer-service mindset. Flexibility for holiday/weekend shifts and a hands-on leadership style are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of inventory control management experience in a retail environment.
• Analytical, multi-tasking and critical thinking skills required.
• Customer service skills are essential.
• Knowledge of Inventory software; proficiency in PC-based applications and attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
• Available to work a flexible retail operations schedule including holidays, weekends, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Execute and analyze cycle-counting processes in high-volume warehouse and retail showroom environments.
• Responsible for showrooms and customer service centers inventory management within the region.
• Hire, mentor, direct and train inventory control coordinator and backroom associates.
• Strong attention to detail, planning and organization.
• Ability to foster strong partnerships and communications processes in both warehouse and retail showroom environments.
• Analyze reports, variances and credits.
• Ability to build and cultivate a self-directed team.
• Ensure proper facility maintenance in showrooms.
• Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Expectations

$60K-$70K yearly salary range

Physical Requirements

• Lift, lower, push, pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs.
• Unload shuttle inventory trucks.
• In the process of moving furniture, accessories, boxes and packages from one location to another, the inventory control manager must lift, bend, stoop, reach, twist, push and pull.
