Job summary

Aspen One, part of Aspen Snowmass, seeks an Inventory Control Manager to ensure inventory accuracy across stores and warehouses and maintain rental product quality.

You will lead cycle counts, physical counts, and variance analysis, partner with store and warehouse ops, and generate regular KPI reports to drive improvements. A background in NetSuite and APICS is a plus, with health and 401(k) benefits provided.

Qualifications

  • Requires 5-7 years of store and warehouse operations experience.
  • Strong data analysis and KPI reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with inventory systems and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and investigate rental and retail inventory movements to ensure system accuracy
  • Manage, audit and analyze cycle counts and physical counts, determining root cause of variances
  • Create and implement corrective actions for variances with store and warehouse ops
  • Identify shrinkage and root cause issues using available tools
  • Work with Accounting to adjust inventory levels in the system
  • Provide regular inventory control reporting to management
  • Oversee damaged equipment processes for retail and rental products
  • Train store and warehouse ops on cycle/physical counts and best practices
  • Build and track KPIs for key processes and monitor them regularly
  • Identify process optimizations and drive implementation
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Description
PositionSummary

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for inventory accuracy across our stores and warehouses as well as rental product quality at these locations.This in-person roleis responsible foran managing all inventory control processes including cycle counting, physical count, inventory past due, and the accuracy of inventory movement within our inventory management system.Analysis of metrics and results of each process, as well as making recommendations to improve procedures, systems, and training to increase inventory accuracy is a key part of this position.This position reports to the Assistant Controller, Rental/ Retail.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $91,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible forbonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor and investigate rental and retail inventory movements to ensure system accuracy
  • Manage,auditand analyze cycle counts and physical counts,determiningroot cause of significant variances
  • Create and implement corrective action measures for any significant inventory variances through close in person collaboration with store operations and warehouse operations
  • Identifyretail/rental store shrinkage occurrences and root cause issuesutilizingavailable tools (surveillance, system records, etc.)
  • Work closely withAccountingto properly adjust inventory levels within systems to ensure the organization hasaccurateinventory information
  • Provide regular inventory control reporting to management that provides insights on inventory control process results
  • Oversee damaged equipment processes for retail and rental product, including assisting in repair and disposal as needed
  • Assistin training store operations and warehouse operations on cycle count and physical count procedures and communication on best practices
  • Build and track KPI’s for key operational processes that will bemonitoredon a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis based on departmental goals
  • Identifyoperational process areas that need efficiency and optimization and work with the respective team on implementation
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Requires 5-7 years of store and warehouse operations experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to analyze large datasets anddetermineactionable results
  • Ability tomaintainstrong working relationship with store operations and warehouse operations
  • High levelofproficiencywith Microsoft Excel, SQL experience a plus
  • NetSuite and/or RTP(Resort Technology Partners)experience is a plus
  • APICS(American Production and Inventory Control Society)certification a plus
Additional Information
  • Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
  • No adverse or hazardous conditions
  • Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or withassistance(weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
