Job summary

Tryfacta is seeking a Temporary Inventory Control Technician I/II to support warehouse operations, inventory control, and internal courier services for a major public agency in San Jose. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, tracking, and delivering materials and mail to district facilities while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and experience in warehouse/shipping roles, with forklift certification or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in storekeeping, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control preferred.
• Forklift certification within 6 months (I) or possession (II) preferred).

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, and issue inventory items and equipment.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and PO's.
• Maintain inventory records and delivery logs.
• Process transactions in inventory management systems.
• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Deliver materials and mail to District facilities.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and safe.
• Provide internal customer service for inventory requests.
• Perform related administrative tasks.
