  • Monitor key inventory and warehouse transactions in D365/ERP, including receipts, transfers, picks, shipments, returns and inventory adjustments; identify errors, exceptions and unusual transaction activity.
  • Own and maintain inventory exception/error reporting. Investigate discrepancies promptly, determine root cause, coordinate corrections and implement actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy performance and execute or coordinate cycle counts, physical inventories and reconciliation activities to ensure physical inventory and system inventory remain aligned.
  • Review inventory adjustments and transaction errors for patterns, process breakdowns or training needs; escalation material service, inventory, safety or shipment risks to the EDC Plant Manager.
  • Maintain inventory-control KPIs and reporting, including inventory accuracy, cycle-count completion, adjustments, transaction errors and other measures established by management.
  • Coordinate inventory accuracy and reconciliation requirements with applicable 3PL locations and internal stakeholders.
  • Support domestic shipment execution and problem resolution as needed, working with the Distribution Supervisor, Customer Service, carriers and other internal functions.
  • Support the international/export shipment process in partnership with Customer Service, the Distribution Supervisor and Export Planner. Help ensure shipment readiness, system accuracy, required documentation and timely handoffs to freight forwarders, carriers and/or brokers.
  • Review and support export-shipment documentation and process requirements, including commercial invoices, packing lists and other required shipping documents, while working within established company export/compliance procedures.

  • Participate in and support continuous-improvement activities that improve inventory accuracy, shipment reliability, service and cost.
  • Coordinate the annual physical inventory when required, including planning, count preparation, execution support, reconciliation, variance investigation, documentation and timely closeout with Operations and Finance.
  • Partner with Finance on quarterly internal audits of the cycle-count program. Provide supporting records, investigate findings and ensure agreed corrective actions are completed.
  • Own monthly reporting of cycle-count program performance and key metrics, including count completion, inventory accuracy, variances/adjustments, recurring error trends and corrective-action status.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • Five or more years of warehouse, distribution, logistics and/or inventory-control experience with strong working knowledge of distribution and receiving processes.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with inventory accuracy, transaction monitoring, cycle counting, reconciliation, inventory adjustments and root-cause corrective action.
