Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for a 1st Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) in California. You will supervise inventory control and warehouse operations, drive accuracy, and coordinate daily staffing to meet customer commitments.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, WMS familiarity (SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder), and proficiency with Microsoft Office and scanners. A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field is preferred, along with leadership

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with WMS systems (SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control and warehouse operations to ensure safety, efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring records, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily operational activities and staffing schedules to meet commitments.
• Train, coach, motivate and develop team members to drive performance.
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with policies and standards; deliver quality service.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Resolve employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
• Support safety and workplace organization standards.
