Job summary

Atkore International is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage raw material and finished goods inventory at the Dallas, TX facility. The role reports to the Plant Director and requires strong experience in cycle counts, data entry, and ERP systems.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in inventory control, lean manufacturing exposure, and proficiency with JDE/Sage within a manufacturing environment. The position emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and meeting production demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of inventory control experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma required.
• Knowledge of Inventory Control software (JDE, Sage) required.
• Experience and knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles preferred.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good understanding of basic math required for counting and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Administrate inventory cycle counts (daily/monthly/annually) and enter adjustments into system.
• Receive and issue finished goods into a computer database.
• Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies using inventory movement reports and counts.
• Prepare cycle count reports and track reconciled vs. non-reconciled counts.
• Coordinate vendor communication regarding raw material deliveries and analyze stock levels.
