Job summary

Atkore is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for our Louisville, KY manufacturing facility to manage raw materials and finished goods. You will report to the Plant Manager and ensure inventory accuracy to support production and distribution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in inventory control, experience with JDE/Sage, and a Lean mindset. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of inventory control experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Business System-based companies is a plus.
• Knowledge of JDE and Sage in inventory contexts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data entry; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administrate inventory cycle counts daily, monthly, and annually and enter adjustments into the system.
• Receive and issue finished goods into the database.
• Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel using inventory movement reports.
• Prepare cycle count reports and maintain spreadsheets to track reconciled vs non-reconciled counts.
• Coordinate in physical inventory activities including cycle counts in JDE and communicate with shipping department.
• Manage raw material end-of-month physical inventory and perform weekly cycle counts for month-end reporting in JDE.
• Arrange raw material purchases and stock items, coordinating deliveries to meet production needs.
• Enter data for Recycled Usage report.
• Ensure plant does not run out of raw materials by analyzing inventory data.
• Reconcile daily/weekly cycle counts and variances per approved thresholds.
• Perform sub-ledger reconciliations for Inventory Control vs General Ledger to identify variances.
