Job summary

Jabil is seeking an IC Lead I to oversee inventory control activities within a manufacturing environment. You will guide a team of specialists, conduct counts, reconcile discrepancies, and drive improvements to accuracy and storage efficiency.

Responsibilities include monitoring levels, collaborating with planning and production, and using SAP/Oracle/JDE/WMS to generate actionable reports. A relevant degree and 2–4 years of experience in inventory control are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred in Supply Chain or related field.
• 2–4 years in inventory control, warehousing, or materials management; 1+ year in lead/supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles (cycle counting, FIFO, LIFO) and proficiency with ERP/WMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small team of Inventory Control Specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies and investigating root causes of variances.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or excesses, and collaborate with planning/production to address issues.
• Utilize ERP/WMS to track material movement, generate reports, and analyze data.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve accuracy, reduce waste, and optimize storage.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, engineering changes, and production schedules.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling to prevent damage, obsolescence, and loss.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide KPI insights and improvement areas.
