Jabil, Salt Lake City/Grantsville, seeks an Assistant Inventory Manager to lead daily inventory control, receiving, stockroom, and shipping operations within a manufacturing setting. You will recruit, train, and develop a large inventory control team while driving accuracy and performance through metrics and continuous improvement.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years in inventory control with 3+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing inventory control, materials management, warehouse operations, or supply chain functions in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing large teams in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution.
• Proven experience leading inventory accuracy, cycle counting, physical inventory, receiving, shipping, and material control processes.
• Experience driving continuous improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management tools, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily inventory control operations including receiving, stockroom, shipping, and inventory analyst functions.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop inventory control team members.
• Manage large teams and drive performance through leadership, training, and development.
• Establish and monitor operational metrics to ensure inventory accuracy, productivity, and service levels.
• Develop staffing, succession planning, and training programs for Inventory Control.
