Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to coordinate workflow for a team of specialists at the Memorial Hermann Consolidated Service Center. You will oversee inventory movement and control across all products, providing direction to associates and ensuring processes are followed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED, preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: MHE Certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three years warehouse inventory control experience.
• Leadership: Minimum one year of leadership experience.
• Skills: Reading, verbal and written communication, and strong organizational abilities.
• Other: Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks; maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete physical inventories and cycle counts with accuracy.
• Track and report non-conforming product and adjust records in the system.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper rotation and location of stock.
• Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain product identification and location program; ensure process adherence.
• Provide training to staff and develop improved inventory procedures.
• Drive inventory accuracy goals and measure performance against metrics.
• Operate WMS and supervise workflow for accuracy across the process.
• Participate in staff meetings and support projects with Operations Team.
• May require overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
