Job summary

Total Warehouse in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to oversee parts and lift equipment inventory, supervise staff, maintain accurate records, and ensure balanced stock levels across the operation.

You will coordinate cycle counts, manage inventory discrepancies, work with vendors and dispatch, and drive improvements in inventory turn and accuracy while supporting service teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Capable of using computer inventory software.
• Able to read and interpret inventory reports and packing slips.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute cycle count schedule in compliance with objectives.
• Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory assets.
• Investigate and reconcile cycle count discrepancies (shortages/overages).
• Update work order statuses to prevent billing delays.
• Organize and maintain material handling and storage areas.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Track parts ETA, availability, and redispatch with Dispatch and Service.
• Process purchase requisitions, receiving reports, purchase orders, inventory requisitions.
• Perform periodic physical inventories to optimize investment in inventory.
• Communicate with vendors about merchandise and inquiries.
• Prepare reports of inventory balance using inventory systems.
• Input product descriptions accurately in the inventory system.
