Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support the storage, receiving, shipping, and tracking of government and contractor inventory at our Tysons-area facility. You will ensure accurate counts, secure storage, and compliant handling of sensitive equipment for projects.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a high school diploma with 8+ years, and possess strong Excel/Word skills. Leadership experience is a plus in our team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage inventory, shipments, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and trend inventory accuracy and discrepancies.
• Maintain safe, accessible, and organized storage areas.
• Inspect and receive inventory; understand barcodes.
• Ensure timely order filling, proper packaging, and ITAR compliance.
• Analyze quantities to maintain and conduct cycle counts.
• Manage transfers, sales, and scrap according to policy.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and effective communication with customers.
